NO!!!!!! Please don't start that bum Graman again, this weekend or EVER for that matter. He was handed a 7 run lead before he even took the mound and still couldn't get a win or even make it through 3 innings. Start Vazquez on 3 days rest or activate Lieber and hope he's ready. Worst case, call up someone else from AAA, anyone!!!

Hey I would have sworn I heard something last night on one of ESPN's 45 channels that said the Yanks were seriously thinking of starting Vazquez on 3 days rest and putting him in against Pedro. Any of you Yankees fans(bastards :-D ) hear anything about this? From a Red Sox perspective I'd rather have Petey against the horrible Graman but from pure baseball Pedro vs Vazquez would be awesome. Hopefully.

That's what I was referring to. They were talking about that during the game and saying that it really depended on how Vazquez felt. I'm guessing if they decide to do it, we won't find out until tomorrow.

I doubt they'd do something like that this early in the year.

Bastards, eh? Nice Game 7 win last year, LOL.

So much for the all all-star lineup. Only 2/3 for tonight.

B. Crosby
D. Jeter
A. Rodriguez
J. Giambi
G. Sheffield
H. Matsui
B. Williams
J. Flaherty
E. Wilson

Flaherty's start is understandable to get Posada a day off. I wish they'd stick with Cairo at 2B for now though. He's been hitting well and Wilson has been useless.
