He's a no-go for me today against Boston. Should I try to ship him out? He gives me a really uncomfortable feeling everytime he has a start for my team! If I do decide to trade him, what could I expect to get in return?

I also am sitting Contreras today. I still think he will put together a good season, so I am not about to trade him away yet. Because he is still sort of unproven to a lot of people and he has yet to pitch well this season, I doubt that you will get much for him at this point.

Eventhough his ERA vs Boston is over 20.00. I just think the Yankees are due to bust out vs the Sox.

I don't think I'll be able to watch it though. Starting him with eyes closed.

I wouldn't trade or dump him yet I still think he will have a nice year, but tonight against the Sox isn't the place or time to hope for a good outing. Wait for him to play a weak team, start him, and hope that one good game will help turn things around for him.

Believe it or not, Contreras didn't face Boston at home last year in a start, period. There's just something about him and Boston for some reason.

The hot/cold thing really might have some effect, because if you look at his splits, he's a better player in the daytime (when it's usually warmer). It might be because Cuba's hotter, so he's more used to warm weather. I may be reaching here with the weather stuff, but I'm still going to bench him.
