The team he plays for—Tampa Bay—may be struggling, but it’s advisable to jump on this bandwagon right now. Waechter is slated to be recalled for a start this weekend, and he’s one of the Devil Rays best young pitching prospects. In six appearances last year (five starts), the right-hander posted a more than respectable 3.31 ERA and 1.25 WHIP. Of greater importance was his 29 strikeouts in 35 innings pitched. Wins may be tough to come by because of the lineups’ struggles, but Waechter should provide solid numbers in ERA, WHIP and strikeouts. Don’t let his recent poor performance in Triple-A fool you. Waecther will be up for the long term in the very near future.

I would be shocked if you ever seen this kid pitch, you read a thing on rotoworld & are sold. Unfortunaltey it takes more than that to spot a sleeper, like watchin him pitch a few times
