Opposing Pitchers...?

When you have two pitchers that are due to start against one another...1) start 'em both, 2) bench the weaker pitcher, or...3) other? Example: Schilling vs. M. Batista (tonight).

pitch the pitchers going against the cold lineup. in this case schilling. batista has been AWFUL lately. sit him until he figures things out and the jays start hitting.

I usually try to pitch guys that are going to give good ratios and take a win as a bonus, if it comes... this usually means starting a good pitchers and above average pitchers against cold/weak hitting clubs... I don't really see a problem starting two opposing pitchers except when you are VERY inning limited -- then just make your best guess.
