I love JJones, and would be sad to see him get traded, but Ford can do everything except pitch and thats what we need. We need to trade Jones for a solid middle relief pitcher ASAP as having a 450 hitter on the bench watching Carlos Pullido give up bombs after bombs is gay.

I've been very impressed by him. He was supposed to be very good, and apparently he is. But unfortunately so are a lot of Twins hitters. When LeCroy and Mauer come back, AB's for tweeners like Ford, Cuddyer, and Morneau will be hard to come by until they're officially out of contetntion. But it's nice to see Ford is successful. Every day I look at the Twins boxscore expecting to see him hit a slump, but it's concistently 2-3, 3-5, with a run or RBI, or something. The kid looks great.

Isn't Torii Hunter coming back this weekend? I don't think he's going to see even close to 27 AB next week as he'll probably be relegated to the bench soon.

Yeah I would predict he will be sharing DH AB's with Offermen and then when LeCroy comes back they'll look at how good Offerman is doing and if he's doing anything (regardless to Ford batting 500 or not) they will hold on to him and send Ford down. Sad but true - just another day in the life of cheering for a team with 5000 prospects and about 2 spots
