I would try and move Thomas, Ensberg and Hinske. They are probably a reason for any low offensive stats.

Your SP is a little thin too. Ishii and Tomo Ohka are a bit of a strech. Try and get Peavy, Eaton or Vogelsong if you can.

I agree, your team is.....ok. I'm split on what to do with Hidalgo. You could keep him and reap the benefits of some good hitting, or try to sell him high for someone whom you know will be better through the entire year. I like Wood and Penny for SPs, but they're not enough.

Suprisingly, i have heard of a lot of leagues where Scott Podsednik is still available, you could try picking him up.

I agree with everything reenum wrote. Peavy and Eaton are the SPs, I would focus on.

But you team, to me anyway, has serious questions marks such as:
Ensberg-He must be platooning for a reason.
Hinske-May never reach his rookie numbers
Baldelli-I don't like at all. Too many Ks.
Thomas-Who knows what you'll get, I doubt a repeat of last season.

As for you arms, Myers is off to a shaky start, as is his entire team. He should be fine. However, Ishii and Okha won't be. See what's on your waiver wire for improvement. I'd rather have a Jerome Williams type SP over either of them.

Also, a) Biddle won't get any save chances, and b) the chances he does get, he will blow about 50% of them. Cordero will close in Montreal before the year is over. Maybe an upgrade there.

See if you can package to improve. It's not a last place team, but one with some holes.

I dropped Ishii and Ohka for Padilla (dropped by someone yesterday) and J Acevedo. Everyone else named in this thread as a possible pickup is taken except Vogelsong.

The Ensberg thing is seriously pissin me off but my other corner choices for FA's are Conine, Olerud, Batista, Durazo, Helms. Not great choices. Really need some guys to wake up.
