damn, i forgot to check it before game time...why's he not playing? regular day off or some injury?

I checked it 10 minutes before the game started and Yahoo showed him in. Pisses me off. If he was a late scratch, probably not a great sign.

Sabathia was a late scratch as well. Hopefully it wasn't injury-related.

That's the third late scratch for me this week. First Salmon, then Womack, and now Sweeney. It's not like I don't already have Nomar and Walker on the DL. :-o
