Average isn't that great, though. Is it over? Maybe, maybe not. I only say that because that was a fastball, not too hard to hit. I want to see how he does against breaking balls and if he can still hit for a high average, like he usually does. Both ways, it's an improving sign.

im pretty sure he didn't forget how to hit :-? he isn't some unproven rookie just up from A ball.

I know that. I drafted him in both of my $ leagues. I'm optimistic, but he looked lost out there earlier in the year. Missed some pitches rather badly. I'm confident he hasn't forgotten how to hit and will break out of it eventually, but I want to see a bit more before I say that that time is now. ;-D
