Man this is pissing me off, I'm not getting any production from him and now he's benched for the 2nd straight night. Argh!!! :-t

same here. giants fans have you heard anything about this? Its really starting to worry me, and its sounding like Im going have to pick up another pitcher. I cant find anything on Rotoworld yet.

He started yesterday. Alou is the kind of manager that will bench a player if he is struggling instead of letting him play out his slump, so this is probably the reason for him not starting.

He's going to lose PT for two reasons. One is that he is not hitting a lick. Two is that it's already assumed that he's with SF for just this year, as the word is they never had any intention of picking up his option year. Could be the two are intertwined, but the end result is that AJ owners are in for some disappointment.

i lost patience already with him, so i dropped him for barrett. i figure santiago and barrett should be able to get me through the year.

yup. i agree. he's in a major slump, and though he's a 300 guy, i just don't see why. sure, he needs to learn NL pitchers, but damn, he's killing me.

any thoughts on dropping AJ for Barrett (a short-term hot bat?) or Lieberthal (injury prone)...
