Maybe he can feel that his team can score runs, and when he starts, he's aggressive cause he feels that he doesn't have to throw a shutout to win.

Mitre did have a pitchers duel in his start against Atlanta on April 10th. He went 7 2/3 innings and gave up 2 runs. Then dusty pulled him and the bullpen gave away the game. I've got my eye on this guy.
