Crosby leaves game for A's, sent back to Oakland for MRI

Postby WebHamster » Wed Apr 21, 2004 2:00 am

Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - Oakland A's starting shortstop Bobby Crosby left Tuesday's 2-1 loss to Seattle with a bruised left knee. He will travel back to Oakland for an MRI exam on Wednesday.

Crosby suffered the injury in the second inning when he collided with teammate Bobby Kielty on a pop up by Scott Spiezio. Crosby made the catch for the first out and remained in the game until being lifted in the fourth.

Crosby finished the game 0-for-2, taking an at-bat in the third before leaving.

I was at that game and it didn't look too bad, until they showed the slow motion replay. Crosby and Kielty hit pretty hard. They should probably be worrying about Kielty having a cracked rib too.

i think they should work on crosbys field vision, and communication. first he takes out ellis, which really doesnt matter because ellis is worthless, and now hes running into kielty. the A's are my second team, so i dont want to see their future star seriously hurting himself, or any of their other players for that matter.
theyre coming.....
