Buying Low

Postby Arlo » Tue Apr 20, 2004 8:22 pm

Juan Pierre has fewer steals than Dave Dellucci. A-Rod is looking up at the Mendoza line from below. And Carlos Delgado has stat freaks wondering whether batting average can be a negative number.

What does that mean for fantasy owners? It's certainly no reason to lose patience with struggling stars. On the contrary, this is the part of the season where opportunities to
Buy Low abound!

Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

A sensible and revelant article for a change! My team is basically writing the "sell high" article: Marcus Giles, Scott Rolen, I-ROD, Benitez, et cetera. You might have wanted to put Bobby Abreu in there, too, he's a standout.

Some guys'll bunt to break out of a slump, others will fan the opposing team's final three batters. Whatever works, I guess... :-D

Thanks for catching that! (Darn typos...)
