He's almost 40, but I think he still has it. He stole 15 and 16 bases last year and the year before, respectively, so his speed isnt declining too much. And his average has been identical the last two seasons. What kind of numbers could we expect from him this year?
Also, how does he compare to the following OFs:
Higginson (when not injured)
Tike Redman
Conine
Erstad

He's a historically slow starter, so I like him to bounce back and be a bit worse than last year. If you're looking for a guy with a little power, an acceptable average, and a little speed, he's your guy. Conine and Erstad are worse in my opinion. Redman will get you more SB's, but I'm not sold on his batting skills.
