Look I know Steve Finley isn't tearing it up at all this year, but 0-11 and hitting .167 as a lead off man is embarassng, he is just taking up space on my bench. All i hear is that he never starts strong in April, no $hit huh. Is this guy too old or what? will he ever start to heat up and start producing or is he worth throwing to the waiver wire?

Maybe you dump him in a 12 team league............ Anything more that 12 teams go ahead and dump him. Some owner will gladly pick him up in 14, 16, 20 team leagues etc.... and then send you a thank you when his bat starts to pick up in early mid may like he has done his entire career. He is in the twilight but still offers usefull totals when he is hitting, and he will in about a month.

I'll agree to that for 20 team leagues but in my 14 team league you wont find him on any team.

well I'm in a 12 team league and I was tired of watching his bench status being filled, and not even having a chance of starting him. I dropped his punk ass just now and i got to pick up Bellliard for a quick hit for my infield, Ill use his spot to pick up the hot kids and a spot pitcher, at least those guys will do something for me. And maybe one of the 3 guys ahead of me on the ww will pick the bum up and I'll be that much closer to a minor league stud who just got called up.

Good play. Someone else used a waiver claim on him in my 12 team league allowing me to move up to 2nd on waivers.

I have him in a 16 team league with no intention of dropping him.

he's really worth owning from mid june till mid august. he gets crazy hot for those 2 months.
