Valentin was put on the 15-day dl for his for a pulled left hamstring. He admitted recently he has chronic hamstring problems dating back to 2001 and he is considering a lengthy stay on the DL to attempt to combat the problems.

Do you think he is worth holding onto? The only think I like about him is that he will get me some HR, RBI, and runs (especially the way that Sox are hitting lately). But, there is probably someone on FA who could give me the same kind of numbers, and I need someone who can get me some SB anyways. Any thoughts?

yeh, stay with the same team the apparent hot man of the day Willie Harris now becomes an every day player until he gets back

What about Juan Uribe?

Juan Uribe is more of a gamble because he's far better with the glove than he is with the stick. Think Neifi Perez when you think Juan Uribe. You wouldn't want either. If Harris qualifies take him if not gimme some names on the waiver wire.
