Anyone hear any new trade rumors? It appears the Griffey and Benson buzz has died down. I thought at least one major trade would happen early in the season.

I still hear every now and then that Junior Spivey could become a Yankee before the All-Star break. I hope they don't, but they could plug Ginter in at 2B if the deal was right.

Vidro to Sox or Yankees. If Nixon's injury doesn't improve look for the Red Sox to trade for MAggilo (if the ChiSOx are out of the race) or Griffey.

Griffey in Fenway? This is the first I've heard of that. I do believe the Red Sox want Mags and will go after him. Hopefully the White Sox mess up a deal with him so he can come here. Get rid of Nomar-we have up and coming stars in the minors and you can easily pay for Mags. I love the idea of Manny and Mags roaming the outfield. Just awesome.

The team with baseball's best record will get even better and trade for Mags after the All-Star break.
Yep, I'm proud to say...the Dodgers!!!

the Sox i think are pretty much all set for this season unless something unexpected happens with Nomah and Nixon's injuries, but the thought of having Manny and Magglio in the OF alongside Johnny "Jesus" Damon just makes me go like this-
for now it looks like they trust Ramirez for next season and prolly will let Nomar go...
anyways u don't have to be smart to know this- Steinbrenner will jump on the first 2B or quality starter he sees
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
