I had M. Giles and Vidro at seconed and picked up Jose Guillen of waiver...



SO I traded VIDRO + GUILLEN FOR MAGGS!!!...

And this allowed me to free up room to pick up ARIMAS RAMIREZ!!!

Before the season started, I needed a catcher, so I traded Berkman and Francisco Cordero for Posada (he also had Lopez).

At the time I was expecting Berkman to have a big season, and he might yet, but Posada may wind up being the AL MVP.

Considering Mantei is getting shelled and Ensberg isn't getting enough of a chance to play, its a decent trade. Now if Contreras can just stop sucking.
