wow, i havent had any good trades this year.

last year i had a fleecing buddy in this one publeague, but like, i was an idiot and let karma catch up to me in this league. check it out.

early on, i traded paul konerko for woody williams straight up. that was a golden fleece.

i got carlos beltran for raul ibanez and kelvim escobar. escobar was dropped within a week or two and i got ihm back. ibanez was eventually dropped too so i got him back.

i think i traded randy wolf and adam dunn and hee seop choi for javier vazquez later on. by the time i got vazquez he gave up a lot of runs and even tho i got a lot of Ks and a decnet # of wins (8-10?) he had a 4.something era.

i ended up 6th in the league. even taking over the steals dept didnt help me do it, my pitching was 4.20 ERA for the whole year =(

no more meandering from this foolio.

Because of his one-dimensionality there was no way thet I could play Dave Roberts. I need power in my lineup and already had Crawford active.

So I get an email from a guy offering Reggie Sanders for Roberts.

Yes, I accepted the deal in 2.7 seconds.

I traded Durham and Benitez for Marcus Giles just before the season started.
I already have plenty of closers. I'm very happy with the outcome. ;-D

An update on my trade scenario from above, after I got Abreu and Jeter for Dunn, Kearns and Kolb, the owner who got my three guys DROPPED Kearns. I know he's slumping a little, but still! I used my No. 4 waiver position to scoop Kearns back up (for a cooling Eric Munson). Therefore, I basically traded Dunn and Kolb for Abreu and Jeter. Beat that!

I gave Berkman, Hafner, and D Roberts (Hafner and Roberts were WW pickups)

I got Huff and Delgado (banking on both of these guys breaking out of their slump soon)

I traded Nomar, Juan Gone, and D'angelo Jimenez for Beltran and Furcal. That was a couple of days before Nomar went down.

my only trade so far was pre-season

gave: Colon/F. Cordero (I have 3 other closers)

got: Mussina/Hidalgo

a pretty even deal, Hidalgo's above expectations and Moose is below. It'll all work out in the end. ;-D

This is the worse trade in the history of Fantasy League Baseball.
