Still has a while, but before Mauer. If you're deciding between LeCroy and Mauer, go LeCroy, without a doubt. Mauer's upside is terrible - .300 average at best with essentially nothing at the other four categories. And he's 20 years old, so the .300 average is doubtful. The last time a 20 year old catcher hit .300 was Benito Santiago in like '87. Few 20 year olds, period, hit .300. And thats his ONLY upside this season. That said, LeCroy isn't particularly valuable either, and you'd probably do better with other waiver-wire catcher options.
