Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Atlanta Braves left fielder Chipper Jones will miss five-to-seven days with an injury to his right hamstring suffered during Sunday's win over Florida.
Jones is listed as day-to-day, and the team is expected to wait at least a few days before deciding whether or not to place him on the disabled list. He hasn't been on the DL since the 1996 season.
The 31-year-old Jones, a former National League MVP and one of the elite outfielders in baseball, is batting .314 with three homers and six RBI this season.
He was injured chasing down a fly ball in the sixth inning Sunday.
