The A's have intentionally walked Edgar Martinez twice in extra innings. Even in his old age, they still fear his bat. :-B

this game looks like it will never end, not that i think that is a bad thing. men are on base every inning and the pitching team always gets out of it...great extra innings game. also am surprised the walked him twice considering boone was on deck, though one of the time they had 1 out and i'm sure they wanted to be able to turn a double play.
