can any1 tell me WHY they are pitching to boone and not walking him too???

i was thinking the same exact thing, but they ended up walking boone anyways.

5 man infield is just having 5 players in the infield w/ only 2 in the outfield.

i would rather pitch to spiezio than boone.....u wouldnt? that way u would force all runners for an easy play to whereever it is hit on the infield....

having chavez eligible in the OF doesn't really improve his value, unless you have rolen as well and someone like marlon byrd starting in your OF.

why are they doing this?

cause the winning run was at third and if he scored the game was over, therefore they had more infielders so they couldn't score on a groundball.

Oh man this game is exciting on TV. M's were up bases loaded full count 2 outs... Spezio fouled off a few pitches. Man the adrenaline was coming! :-°
