the news:
Giants manager Felipe Alou named lefthander Kirk Rueter his Opening Day starter Sunday. Rueter went 14-8 last season with a 3.23 ERA in 33 starts for the Giants in 2002, and has won 10 or more games six straight seasons. Jason Schmidt will be the second starter

view:
All he does is win. The Giants were 25-8 in games he started last year. Yet Rueter will likely be overlooked in a lot of fantasy leagues again this year and come as a bargain on draft day
