Anybody else read the book Moneyball. If not, then u should. its about Billy Beane and how he still manages to win 90 games with the lowest budget in baseball. very good, i recommend it.

Excellent book. I also reccommend
The Teammates by David Halberstam.

great book, but moneyball theory is baf for fantasy baseball because they don't steal. Guys like Jermaine Dye could be stealing 20 bases. Vernon Wells also because the Jays are run by Beane disciple J.P Ricciardi

Yea, fantasy baseball doesn't benefit from Billy Beane.

I don't know why, but reading this just made me laugh, but I agree, some guys slide down my rankings if they go to a team where I know they won't steal.

however the draft class that was praised so highly in Moneyball is looking like a flop right now (well maybe not a flop, but hardly an amazing draft)... accodring to the reports i have only Blanton really has a chance of being a great player, though Brown and Swisher should make it to the majors.
