Where to locate player month to month stats from the past?

Postby ferris182 » Mon Apr 19, 2004 4:11 pm

Hey guys,

Does anyone know where to locate previous player stats (ie average, hrs, RBIs, etc) that is broken down by month?

For example, did Sammy Sosa start off last year cold? How many HRs did he hit in April? What has his average in June of 2002?

I am trying to make some trades for guys who start off slow and I was wondering if there was an area to find out previous monthly stats.

Any help would be appreciated.

Look the player up at ESPN.COM. WHen you pull the player card up, check under the split section of his player card. Excellent resource.

go to cbs sportsline

search on the players name

choose the year and click on game log

will show month by month games

the average shows by each game so you would have to do the math yourself - although you can count the homers

Yep, for recent years, Yahoo's splits are pretty nice, and they're convenient too ;-D

Yep, use the split stats on any major sports site and you will get the month by month numbers.

Yahoo loads the quickest. ;-)
