Beat the Streak on MLB.com (Free to join)

Here's a game I found on mlb.com. You pick a different player each day that you think is going to get a hit. The object is to see how long of a hit streak going with the overall goal to break DiMaggio's 56 game streak. You can check it out at:

I've created a league for all Cafe Members to join. The league name is Cafe League 2004 and the password is streak.

There seems to be quite a few people playing now. But I can't seem to figure out how it is ranking people. It doesn't seem to change based on current streak or longest streak. Anyone else know?

Yeah I was wondering about that too. Strange.

Its based on the best streaks... so if you have a 30 game streak
and then go 0-4 as long as 30 was the longest streak of the season it will list you as the #1 streak... but will also list your current streak.
BTW I'm in for the cafe league!!

I'm not in it this year, but its a pretty fun minimal time investment game. I rode the heck out of Jose Vidro's 30+ game hit streak in 2002 and almost broke 30. I forgot which player mullliganed it for me after I jumped off Vidro in his late 20's of the hit streak.

Yeah it seems to be fixed now. Originally though it wasn't ranking anyone in any sort of an order.
