so I'm trying to improve my starting pitching in a league I'm in, and I spot an owner who has just one closer. I have a closer to spare, so I offer Isringhausen for Ben Sheets. Not a bad trade at all. I go to this league page a few minutes ago and see the guy has posted a message saying he is interested in trading, but he does not want to give up Sheets right now. He says check out this other offer I have made you.

At this point I'm thinking OK fair enough, maybe we can work something out. I check my team page his proposal is

His Ichiro for my Vlad.

What the hell is wrong with people. Maybe he will be receptive to my ichiro for brad fullmer proposal. what a joke.

Why would you deal Izzy for Sheets any damn way, you are lucky you got taken off the hook for that one...

(By the way, a pitcher of equal value to Izzy in my mind, is someone like Pettitte, Maddux, Nomo or Pineiro types )

with the scoring rules for this league izzy for sheets is fair. should have mentoned that. especially since i have an abundance of closers.
