He is looking like the second coming of Matt Riley. ;-)

Don't get too excited.

This is the anemic A's offense.

We have Dye who is murdering rite now

Chavez = slump

rest of lineup is nothing special

I'm surprised he made Beane's bunch strike out so much, but it doesn't make him a good pitcher. And the Oakland offense has definitely not been anemic.

he still pitched well despited the HR to crosby late......he had the hitters fooled on his fastball/splitter. morgan called it as hitter after hitter would look fastball and swing and miss on the splitter or expect splitter and K looking on the fastball. he just needs a little more work on the stamina (threw too many pitches) and he could be really good 2nd half.

I like Escobar for this year..........he pitched very well as a starter last year, and his bad RP numbers give a bad impression of how good he was. He was especially good away from SkyDome. It'll be interesting to see what kind of a year he has. I hve him on a few teams because hardly anybody thinks highly of him. Just the kind of guys I like to get near the end of the draft ;-D
