im so tired of these bonds threads. Like the one yesterday, "wow did you see the foul ball he hit?" I mean, other people hit home runs too. Sammy Sosa hit 2 and is now holds the record for most home runs as a cub. Where is Sammy's thread? We dont need to keep a home run track of every one Bonds hits, at least not until he gets within maybe 10 of Ruth.

thanks for 'bumping' the thread... If you saw Bonds foul ball you would see why it was so imperssive. Also, go ahead and start a thread about Sosa. I just posted this becuase he has 6 homeruns in 5 days (2 today), and he will get another at-bat today
Note to Pitchers and Managers:Not a good idea to throw the ball to him. Ever. Don't even put it over the plate. Roll it if you have to. Just DON'T pitch to him. He WILL hit it. (But if you insist on making Barry beat you, go ahead and chuck it up there. 98 out of 100 times he will.)
which brings up the thought.... i know its a real long shot, and would be a disgrace to ted, but if he keeps up like this does Barry have an outside shot at a .400 season?
just pitched to him again... and he once again made them pay. RBI single.
I understand Jim Tracy not wanting to load the bases, but come on now. Barry was 3-3 with 2 Hr's, a double, and 4 RBI's before that AB. YOU GOTTA WALK THE GUY.
What I don't understand is...that inning where he hit his 2nd HR started out with back-to-back doubles. Ok, so Bonds is up with a man on 2nd AND NO ONE OUT! FIRST BASE IS OPEN! AND THEY PITCH TO HIM!!! I mean, I hate the Dodgers, so to me this is extrememly funny. But, you can't get much dumber than that.
By the way, anybody see that the Dodgers went back-to-back-to-back in that game? Beltre hit a 3-run shot, then Encarnacion, then David Ross. Don't see than everyday.
The best lyric ever: "You shouldn't throw stones if you live in a glass house and if you gotta glass jaw you should watch your mouth...'cause I'll break yo face."

whats the AB requirement?
i think its 400
but in 2002 bonds was only 11 hits away from .400
(If he went 11-11 ratehr than 0-11, hey would have gotten it)
