I think the problem is that A-Rod doesn't have enough protection in the weak Yankees lineup. All they have to do is pitch around him and deal with Giambi, Sheffield, Posada, Matsui.. ect ect.. He is trying to do everything himself since there's no chance in hell those weak bats are going to produce around him....
He needs to work on his swing.. Looks like he's not staying back.. That's what he did last May when he was k'ing 2 time a game.

I was pissed when I did not get first pick in my fantasy draft this year, because i wanted A-Rod, instead I got pick #12. I took Vladdy with #12, and Manny with #13. It was a good thing I did not get the first pick, because I would have taken A-Rod over Pujols with it. The number 12 pick so far has worked out fine, because Vladdy, and Manny are having good fantasy numbers so far.
I have been having the same thought, unfortunately, his pitchers (Johnson, Oswalt AND Glavine...) ALL rocked this weekend. I have a bunch of surplus pitching but I will see what's going on on Monday AM!
Jeez, maybe I could unload Ensberg on him and he'd raise his team batting average 20 points!!
