As a Cub fan, I'm now worried about Maddux
Thought it was a horrible signing to begin with -- Juan Cruz woulda put up a comparable ERA as a FULL-TIME starter (not dicking him around from starter to reliever), but the cold weather excuse can't work today. We can now blame the wind I guess

Does this mean the HELL START?.. I picked up Willy Mo just in case Kearns is out for a while..
Hopefully it's a sign of things to come..

Kearns has a bruised hand.
With Larson coming back, my guess is Ryan Freel would play more than Pena.
Kearns should be back full-time this week.

one plus that came out of this injury was that Pena looks like he's ready to take over if the Reds lose an OF, Casey gets hurt and Dunn has to move to first, or the Reds trade griffey.
