I agree with starting Dye over Patterson. Pick up Pavano, for sure - Perez is also a good pick up.
Crosby sucks, but when Nomar comes back, you'll be set. Konerko should have a big year - I like Burrell, although I would consider swapping him and Corey depending on the pitcher they're facing.
Good team!

i'm a big fan of benson right now, and i think he would be a good pickup for you. when nomar gets better, i'd drop crosby, and pickup another 3b if one's worth it. otherwise, your in good shape. nomar should give you the offensive boost you need.
also, i have patterson, but must go with the consensus that dye would be a better start.

I agree with most. Do something with Ensberg, he wont be what he should be this year. Crosby is OK until Nomar gets back. Your pitching is solid, and I guess you count holds?

Pretty good squad! I like the OF, and when Nomar comes back, that'll help. I don't know why you have Tim Hudson on your bench, start him!
I'd also start Santana and sit Eaton. I'd give Ensberg a bit more time, after all, it's only April. The season is a marathon, not a sprint.
Start Patterson over Dye, Dye is a bigger injur risk, and Patterson has a better lineup around him.

Baseball is a game where a curve is an optical illusion, a screwball can be a pitch or a person, stealing is legal and you can spit anywhere you like except in the umpire's eye or on the ball. ~Jim Murray
i like your team and not to beat a dead horse, but i'd be most concerned about ensberg...castilla might not be a bad stop-gap and you could platoon them based on match-ups, but i'd definitely be looking to deal some pitching and/or one of your outfielders for a more solid thirdbaseman. don't overspend for another closer. if you can get a good deal on one (maybe in that deal for a thirdbaseman), take it, but if not, don't panic. someone will emerge.
please respond to my post in the Trade, Keeper, and Waivers Questions forum about dropping Affeldt or Vogelsong for Jerome Williams.
