Nope, it's just that the content is loaded from an external database field, so the post itself is in fact never edited (and even if it was, the new date would show up as "last edited" and not as the original post date). Thanks for finding the solution to the "mystery".
Why are the standings determined by points assigned by weekly finishes? Why arent the standings determined by the points accumulated for each prediction? Wouldnt that be a more accurate way of showing who has done the best?
If we would, we'd be rewarding attendance over good picks. Basically, if you miss a week or two, you'd stand no chance of winning, no matter how good your other weeks are.

Not really. If you go by points accumulated, even last place gets up to 70% of the winner's points merely for participating. Going by weekly finishes, you're in good company when you miss the week, becaues ranks ranks 31-? also get nada, and only the top few make the big points.
