You have to look at how many pitches Wagner has thrown each outing. Yes he pitched 3 straight days, but he only threw a total of 30 pitches those 3 days. 12, 9 and then 9 again yesterday. Today he came in and wrapped it up in 9 pitches again. So in 4 days he's thrown 39 pitches, that isn't that many.
