Last time a closer was used 4 days in a row.Last week by Jack Mckeon.

And when ya really think about it, 4 innings in 4 days is not that big of a deal.I mean most of these guys were starters at one point or another in there life.Wagner got the big bux, so its only right to run his ass out there whenever you need him.

Not the same. He's warming up before each outing. But, the reasoning here isn't hard to figure out. Bowa's in survival mode right now.

Looks like Bowa not only had him pitch, but brought Wagner in in a non-save situation (tied 4-4). Wagner picked up the W.

Bringing in your closer in a tie game when he's already pitched 3 days in a row in very questionable.

Good for fantasy owners, not so good for Wagner's arm.

You have to look at how many pitches Wagner has thrown each outing. Yes he pitched 3 straight days, but he only threw a total of 30 pitches those 3 days. 12, 9 and then 9 again yesterday. Today he came in and wrapped it up in 9 pitches again. So in 4 days he's thrown 39 pitches, that isn't that many.
