Second, I think the White Sox pen is a complete mess. I'd hold on to Chacon until it straightens itself out.

I think Marte is too valuable as a left handed specialist to be the closer. It will be interesting to see what happens. I will wait for the smoke to clear before making a move.

I dont see how the Sox can continue to let Kock close games. He has got to get something changed.

Marte pitched to 5 batters to get the save...doesn't sound like he's the clubs' closer yet. Pick up Marte if you have the space on your roster but I think the White Sox are gonna try the closer-by-committee thing for a little while before giving up on Koch this early into the season

Look for Marte to get about 10 saves for the year, if it continues this way. He'll get a few 2 inning saves (like today), a few 1 inning saves with two lefties up, and maybe even a regular save or two. However, like the other guys said, he's the best lefty out of the pen by far. They need him as the lefty specialist. If I were them, I would find some way to get a decent lefty and move Marte to the closing position. Koch and Takatsu are awful.
