Last year I was champ - this year 20th place?! WTF?

Postby Sticky Spice » Sat Apr 17, 2004 1:09 pm

I knew I had a poor draft but this is getting ridiculous. The first place team is 100 pts ahead of me already. I spent $200 on offense and just $60 on pitching, yet I still have the worst offense?!

C - Brent Mayne
C - Jose Molina
1B - Richie Sexson
3B - Eric Chavez
CI - Tony Clark
2B - D'Angelo Jimenez
SS - Alex Gonzalez CHC
MI - Jimmy Rollins
OF - Bobby Abreu
OF - Johnny Damon
OF - Jose Cruz Jr
OF - Desi Relaford
OF - Juan Rivera
UT - Barry Larkin

DL - Nomar and Travis Lee

This offense is last in RBI, last in R, last in HR, middle of the pack in SB, and 3rd to last in OBP.

P - Esteban Loaiza
P - Vicente Padilla
P - Jose Contreras
P - Tim Wakefield
P - Jose Lima
P - Ramon Ortiz
P - Doug Davis
P - Sun Woo Kim
P - Tim Worrell
P - Braden Looper

DL - BH Kim

Please tell me I'm not 20th place bad.

im sorry to say this but your team doesn't look too good... the only option for you is too really keep a watch at the WW as you don't have too much trade bait either. some of the guys you have just started out bad.... your team will obviously perform better as they return to their usual self
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

Wow, that is one of the worst money teams I've ever seen. The only offense you have is Sexson and Abreu! That's why you're last. Words cannot describe how horrid your pitching is. Wow...
