At what point is Womack no longer a fluke?

I agree.

Womack won't hit over .260 and his SB total will be under 20. Trade him now if you can. His job is all but secure, and if you watch him play he isn't even a decent hitter anymore. You can't steal bases if you can't get to first.

He should do well until LaRussa THINKS that Hart/ Anderson will do better. I am not anticipating that he will be awesome b/c I see the Cards having some issues this year, mostly in the pitching rotation but, since they don't have any pitchers, LaRussa will mess around w/ the hitters to try to win anyway, which will not bode well for Womack. I am hoping that he'll last at least 15 days as Berroa is gone but I also picked up Lugo who seems to be dependable as another backup.

I think he could get 25 sb if he keeps his job.......
