Now I want absolutely no steroid talk in this thread, that topic has its own thread. What Bonds just did was pull a 101 mph fastball on the inside corner 50 feet foul into McCovey Cove. I promise that nobody has ever pulled a pitch over 100 mph more than 10 feet foul. He has the quickest bat EVER!

I dont know what you mean by that LA Cubs (what?). If you mean that that accomplishment means nothing, then maybe you deserve to be a tortured Cub fan. And in case you didnt know, Bonds homered off Gagne to deep right-center just two pitches later.

I wish I was there, too, sfgfan4life, cause even on TV that was incredible.

I was watching the box score and thinking he's gonna get a pitch to hit here and then..........bam. Just imagine what he would do if pitchers would actually PITCH to him. I'd like to see SF go out and get a premier hitter to protect Bonds. At least then, they'd walk him in fewer situations.

You are simple the best Barry ... I don't care what they say, or what they accuse ..
Its going to be a shame that they, your neysayers, won't truly learn to appreciate you for another 50 years ...

Thanks Bloody
