Even if he comes away with a loss or ND tonight.. I'll be very happy. He's looked strong and he'll only get better the more starts he has. Not to mention he'll do nicely on my team with Hudson.
Had a no-no going into the 6th, both hits were crap. One a flare and the other a groundball to 2B, but he was covering seond on the steal. He's been brilliant! Even if he takes the loss, I'm delighted with what I've witnessed tonight. He's back! Just hope his bats can help him out. Besides Bonds, that is a very gross lineup they have going tonight.

Ya Usually when you come off the DL, they give you a AAA rehab assignment first............................. thats why the Giants had Schmidt go up against the Dodgers murders row offense.

Just the Dodgers eh? Last 3 nights in the very pitcher friendly Petco the Dodgers have scored 21 runs. They came in last in runs last year sure, but this isnt the same lineup. They won't be last this year.
Well it's his first outing coming off the DL from elbow surgery. And it's not like the Dodgers are terrible at hitting this year. I'm very impressed with what he's done so far. Both runs were scored on ground outs anyway, so it's not like they're crushing the ball. Like I said before, give him 3 starts to get back to his old self, and he'll be back to tip top fantasy stud status.
