Return to Baseball Leftovers

Pardon my ignorance, but Kip Wells was down 0-2 after 7 complete innings. In the top of the 8th, they scored 1 run and they pinchit for Wells. Assuming that they score 2 more runs (big assumption given it's the Pirates), and hold on to win 3-2, who would get the win?
Gracias
Newbie

The winning run would have to be scored before the end of their half of the inning.

Yes newbie he will get the win, unless they blow this 5 run lead and the mets come back to tie or take the lead.

Never fear Jose "1-2-3" Mesa will close it out for Kip
Yup and Mesa is over due to blow a save.

No way. Mesa my main man is automatic
Not only is his ERA 0.00, I don't think he has allowed anyone on base since he's been with the Pirates.
