I have both in a roto league and I'm starting them against each other. Let's go pitcher's duel with lots of K's! :-)

I wouldn't worry about it right now. Unless you have 7-8 starters on a 21 player team. They will get injured, have cold streaks and bad match ups you can avoid during the rest of the season.

I would normally have no concerns starting Peavy against Randy but I'm sitting him tonight because he has a terrible career ERA against Arizona and he is due for an average outing.

I'm thinking always start Peavy at Petco National Park. Arizona may have rocked him before, but this year's D-Backs don't exactly have the makings of a good large park offense.

I started both of them:

14 innings
1.29 era
0.71 whip
14 k's
1 win

I'm not complaining at all. :-)

I am pretty sure that you could not have prayed for a better outcome. I know I was praying for a different one, But hell it is RJ. Nice pitching line ....

Note that Peavy pitched pretty well despite a nasty flu bug. This kid is heading for a big year.

Had it been a little closer I could have gotten a save from Mantei. Lol. :-D
