from rotoworld :
Rangers placed first baseman Mark Teixeira on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 13, with a strained muscle on his left side.
Teixeira could return in 12 days. Adrian Gonzalez and Herbert Perry should platoon at first base until he returns
I am in a deep league and since I need another first baseman, I have to choose between picking up Hafner and Brad Fullmer. I know, slim pickings, but that is what happens when you hold a 30-round draft in a 10-team league. Who would you suggest? Hafner or Fullmer?

I've jumped onboard the Choi (choo-choo) train too. (Not quite the same thing as the D-Train...badoomp-boom-ching)

Sure, Burroughs will probably score quite a few runs and might even swipe a bag here and there. Not a bad choice. I did in fact end up picking him up today. Unfortunately, playing in what appears to be a pitching heavy park, I'm not banking on any power numbers out of him. It's still too early to judge the park for sure, but right now the balls are not flying out of there.
Personally, I think Mueller could have a higher average and a bit more pop. Obviously the lineup helps that too. Either way, it's a temporary solution until Tex gets back.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
it does suck, Tex will be on the 15 day DL, but atleast it will give him time to heal instead of hurting himself more, and when he comes back he will return to the Tex we all love, I wish you the best Tex, come back soon...
Thanks for the update. He's not showing as DL-eligible in Yahoo yet. (Not that it matters, because I have Mauer and LeCroy already occupying my 2 DL slots. Plus I have Donnelly.)
