Contreras!
Eaton has only played the Dogers!
One more solid outing against a different team and I will think differetnly.

Contreras, definitely. His ceiling is through the roof. He is capable of being the ACE of that staff. Remember he got off to a terrible start last year and still finished 7-2 with a 3.30 ERA and 1.15 WHIP. He may just be one of those guys who takes a while to get going. After the first month last year he had a 2.73 ERA and .98 WHIP.
Eaton looks good, but both his starts this year have been against LA.

I hope they both have a great season, (Ihave them both

) but if I had to pick who will have the better season I would go with Contreras.

I'd say Contreras. He's got great stuff, and I love pitcher's who throw splitters. Just seems like they can dominate when they're on. And get a lot of K's. But with Eaton in the Litter Box, ya never know. And he looks great so far this year.

I think what everyone forgets, nevermind, what nobody even knew (this is the Cafe, can't assume anyone knows anything), was that Qualcomm, the Padres old park, was a very good pitcher's park too. I can't see Petco being THAT much worse than Qualcomm for hitters. Besides, the OF is big and there isn't much foul ground, so batting averages for the hitters should increase.
