Mark Bellhorn has an average of .192 and an OBP close now to .450 which is second only to Marcus Giles among 2B men.
If your league uses OBP this guy is worth a look, because he seems to draw walks at will. 12 now in 26 AB's, the most in the majors and two ahead of Bonds, which is incredible for a guy batting in front of Pokey Reese
I know he is only a short term option but you could do worse in what is a very weak position.

I'm glad it's working out for ya. Knowing Epstein, I bet it's Reese who loses his job and not Bellhorn when Nomar gets back.

Reese should start whenever Derek Lowe is pitching cos of his D and whoever is swinging the bat better should start otherwise

Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

Something needs to be, my hitting is woeful in your league
First time I have done a 16 teamer and my tactics were similar to yours last year. Draft OF'ers first and stay away from the more scarce positions. Bellhorn is working out good so far and here's hoping he does get the fulltime job when Nomar comes back. He has shown plenty of pop in previous seasons as well.
