Plus Burroughs is still available, should I possibly pick him up for one of these 3?
EVERYONE at the cafe should know how high I am on Bourroughs. In a 10 man league I would find someone better but I am the biggest Bourroughs fan in the world and expect huge numbers from him.
(YES! Another thread where I can boast about how much I like Sean Bourroughs! )
Hinske won't have a bad BA. Last year he was off with a broken hand for most of the season, and played through it for the other part. He hit .279 his rookie year, which for a 3B, is pretty good. Better than I'd expect from Ensberg, and definately better than Castilla. And for somebody whose such a big fan of Burroughs, you'd think you would spell his name right. Hinske is better than Ensberg even if he got regular playing time. He won't, so drop him and get somebody who'll help your team. If you have a util spot available, take Burroughs. If not, fill another hole (that sounds bad).

Of those SP's, I'd probably drop Ensberg for Acevedo, Gobble, or Bonderman. Gobble will get the best run support but not many K's, Bonderman will get more K's, and Acevedo should have the lowest ratios with above average K's, although in a hitters park. Take your pick. With guys like Burroughs on the WW, you don't need to keep Ensberg around, especially with 2 superior 3B's on your roster already.

Check to see if any other team in your league needs a 3rd baseman, if there isn't then you are going to have to hit the waiver wire. I would also think about trading Shawn Green you can probably get a good pitcher for him.

Burroughs or Hillenbrand for my points league, who would you guys rather have?
the point values are... R (1), H (.5), HR (3), RBI (1), SB (2), K (-1)
****I also think you should grab Castilla until Tex is back...
I'd go with Burroughs. Hillenbrand is hot, but he always starts out hot, and plus, he's been doing it in Coors field. Burroughs is a better bet I think. But it's a close call. Hillenbrand has more power, if you need that.
