I'd say he'd be a 1st/2nd rounder if he was healthy after last year. He was the #1 SP and is only getting better, so why not? He's Halladay plus more K's. The fact that he had surgery just makes him cheaper for me to get in all my drafts.

I had the same drop in my league. I waited on picking up someone else when Cliff floyd went on the DL and I put in a claim on Schmidt. I had the #3 option (the guy who dropped him was #1) so I just had to hope that the #2 guy didn't see it - he didn't.
I've got Schmidt going tonight.
