Wow, this is annoying. Tejada hits a dinger on my team, but now I was hoping for julio to come in and get the save and what happens, they cant friggin close the game.

Is is possible for him to give up a run and then still get a save if they're up by 3?

Ahh no.
Doesn't work like that unfortunately.
Now I can see Julio coming in without a save opp. and without focus and getting nailed.

If some other RP comes in for B'More, allows a runner to get on, and then Julio comes in, he can get the save. The tying run has to be due up in the inning in order to get a save in one inning. If they're up by 6, and some RP lets the bases get loaded, and Julio comes in and allows less than 6 runs (the first 3 wouldn't be charged to him), he gets the save.
