Red Sox announce make-up dates

Boston, MA (Sports Network) - The Boston Red Sox announced on Thursday make-up dates for their postponed games earlier this week against the Baltimore Orioles.

Boston and Baltimore were slated to begin a three-game series on Tuesday at Fenway Park. However, heavy rain throughout the region forced the postponement of the first two games.

As a result, the Tuesday, April 13 game will be made up on Monday, May 31 at 1:20 p.m. (ET) and the Wednesday, April 14 game is rescheduled for a day-night doubleheader on Thursday, July 22. Game 1 will be played at 1:05 p.m. and Game 2 will be at 7:05 p.m.

May 31 was previously scheduled as a day off for both teams.
