Your worst mistake on draft day 2004?

Postby Zito is God » Thu Apr 15, 2004 8:00 pm

What is the worst mistake you have made on draft day this season?

Mine was probobly taking Varitek in the 12th round over Brandon Webb because I was scared of the catcher pool bieng slim, I ended up with David Wells as my pitcher the next round instead.

Oh, and I can't foget my famous Mike Mussina 2nd round pick...

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

Mussina is a legitimate 2nd round pick. He will produce his customary numbers by season's end.....

My biggest mistake is probably my reeeach for Morris in the 4th round... Probably could've gotten him in the 6th or 7th......

Taking Torii Hunter in the 11th when Carlos Lee was available. He was taken in the 12th.

Showing up and drafting for myself instead of letting someone else do it for me...
