San Juan, PR (Sports Network) - Montreal rightfielder Carl Everett is expected to miss three-to-four weeks after being placed on the disabled list Thursday.
An MRI exam showed a tear and a bruise in Everett's injured right shoulder. He was hurt sliding into second base during a 9-0 loss to Florida on Wednesday.
Everett, who is hitting .233, with one home run and two RBI, was replaced in the Montreal lineup Thursday by Ron Calloway. Calloway went 0-for-3 with a strikeout in a 3-0 loss to Florida.
The Expos recalled outfielder Matt Cepicky from Triple-A Edmonton of the Pacific Coast League to fill Everett's roster spot.
